The concept of Culture

 Did you try to ask yourself why culture is defined in different ways?


Sometimes, we define Culture in a different ways and it's true you can define culture  the way you understand it depending on where you from as well as where you belong. The existence of culture depends on ability possessed by human alone. Culture includes language, ideas, beliefs, customs, codes, institutions, tools, techniques, works of arts, rituals, and ceremonies among other elements.  

Culture refers to the beliefs, customs, arts, and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement. It encompasses the way of life of a particular society or group, including language, traditions, rituals, social norms, and values. 

Ella  a Mount kenya university student defines Culture as ideas, customs and social norms/behaviors of a certain society or a person. through cultural activities and experiences , one can gain deeper appreciation and understanding of different cultures and their unique aspects.

 People are what they learn. Optimistic version of cultural determinism place no limits on the abilities of human beings to do or to be whatever they want. Culture is not society, it is blueprint for how we live, think  and act.







Culture plays a significant role in shaping people's identities, behaviors, and interactions within a community. It's a complex and multifaceted concept that influences various aspects of individuals' lives and societies as a whole. Culture has been called "the way of life for an entire society."
